man got booked for trying to enforce "law"

This news seems to stirred up some local forums. The issues was that a police car was parked at an area that would be illegal for other vehicles. A couple saw this and parked their car behind the cop's car and went to look for the cops to reason with them. They even took photos of the car. Somehow the cop showed them a sign that says no parking except police and authorised vehicle. The cops then booked the couple's car that was behind the cop's car. The guy tried to reason with the cop and he raised his voice with a "controlled" tone. The cop according to the news article shouted back if he wants to shout at a policeman. So what does this show? Most netizens from forums seems to agree the couple had it coming. Why do the couple want to ask the police to remove their vehicle when they themselves park there too? They didn't even bother to check the sign boards. Even without sign boards, I wouldn't mind if the police have to park in the void deck if they are responding to an emergency. The police are there to ensure security around us. So do you expect them to spend 10 to 15 mins to look for a parking space and probably put their coupons too? And for the guy who raised his voice, you are lucky the cops didn't book you and additional offense.
