One of Singapore's iconic radio station Power98 FM is moving to digital only, which means you need to run an app with internet to listen. This will give Mediacorp radio one less competition with only SPH radio remains for FM listeners. There are still majority users prefer the FM radio because the FM radio is easily available, doesn't need internet to use. Digital streaming is good when there is no FM signal, you can listen easily with your internet connection. The seniors won't know how to operate the digital app. Power98 I have been listen to it from the early days when some of the notable DJs started from Safra Radio. I still prefer to use my SONY walkman. Until the day a digital device for listen to streaming is available, perhaps a change but for now I will listen to what's available.
