One of Singapore's last magazine shop is closing on 5-May-2024. Thambi Magazine Store at Holland Village, they have been around for 80 years. They have been through the years where readers go there for their dose of magazines. Today, how many of us still read magazines? Or the physical magazines? The magazine selections are filled the whole wall and the other side, shelf. News of their closure brought along mass of people to visit and also to purchase into a memory that will be gone. I am one of them. There is nothing much left on the shelf except for some out dated magazines or titles that doesn't interest you. Nevertheless, am happy they get to clear much of their stock before closing.
