Local production, King Of Hawker, is a simple movie to enjoy. There is no complex storyline. Just plain simple story of the main character got a divorce and goes back home where she took over the family hawker stall. This show could be Singapore's only movie with the most Cantonese dialogs. If you do understand Cantonese humors you will enjoy this show. Director Kelvin Sng wants to bring out the topic of our hawker culture. We do appreciates our hawkers where we get most of our food. Lastly after the movie you will sure feel hungry!
