Flash movie breakdown

 

Everyone watched the Flash movie yet? Haven't? Then skip reading this page. I am going to talk about the Flash movie. SPOILERS.... maybe.


Flash comic fans, will know about Flashpoint. The comic series that kind of ended the DC comic world that we, the older readers are familiar with the history of DC to the Flashpoint time of events. It ended and the New 52 era started. The Flash TV series has done their own mini version of "Flashpoint" and is nothing similar to the comics. The movie did not uses the Flashpoint name, but the similarities in the characters gives fan a Flashpoint feel. However, I am listing the differences here.

Comic Flashpoint is about going back in time and changed history.
Movie Flash went back in time but it also involves merging of alternate universe.

Comic Flashpoint Batman is Thomas Wayne.
Movie Flash is 1989 movie Batman, who is Bruce Wayne.

Comic Flashpoint Kryptonian is Kal-El
Movie Flash is a Kryptonian female Kara Zor El.

Comic Flashpoint Barry Allen regains his speed powers with the help of Batman.
Movie Flash Barry Allen regains his speed powers with the help of Batman.

Comic Flashpoint Batman died due to injuries substains against super villains.
Movie Flash Batman died when fighting against Kryptonian soldier.

Comic Flashpoint Barry have the help of other heroes that were familiar yet different.
Movie Flash, Barry met his alternate younger self and passed his speed powers to him.

Comic Flashpoint. the rewritten history causes Aquaman's Alantic army battle against the Amazon and the war is causing damage to the civilian population in the area

Movie Flash shows General Zod from Man of Steel movie scene happening again.
