Today is the Boeing 747 jumbo jet's last flight. The model to replace this plane will be the 777X. However it will only be ready in 2025. The 747 took off in 1970 and now after 30 years it got retired. While waiting for 777X arrvial, looks like the other plane models will get to impress the passengers.
The founder of Creative Technology, Mr Sim Wong Hoo had died on 4-Jan. Under Mr Sim, Creative Technology in the early days produced the Sound Blaster series sound cards for Personal Computers. This sound cards made the early days computer comes with great sound. It was especially good when playing with games and the early days, there are no mp3 music yet. I still have my Sound Blaster cards, although it isn't of use on today's modern PC. Under Mr Sim, Creative Technology was one Singapore brand that is recognised in other parts of the world.
Actor Jeremy Renner was in a snow plough accident that left him seriouly injured but in a stable condition, according to his representative. Jeremy Renner is best know for his work as Hawkeye in Marvel Avengers. He is also in Mission Impossible and Bourne Legacy. Not much was known about the accident but here wishing him a speedy recovery.
