The founder of Creative Technology, Mr Sim Wong Hoo had died on 4-Jan. Under Mr Sim, Creative Technology in the early days produced the Sound Blaster series sound cards for Personal Computers. This sound cards made the early days computer comes with great sound. It was especially good when playing with games and the early days, there are no mp3 music yet. I still have my Sound Blaster cards, although it isn't of use on today's modern PC. Under Mr Sim, Creative Technology was one Singapore brand that is recognised in other parts of the world.
