This type of events should be done more often since there isn't anymore such flea market since Far East Square days. Hope you have managed to catch the event.

Marvel is in trouble? It have been from the day they started to push out movies after movies of characters that nobodies cares and forced storylines that nobodies wants. Do you watches Marvel movies after Avengers: Endgame? The shows after that are just so so. The comics are no selling as well. Ultimately it is about the money being earned. If nobodies pay up for the show, they are trash. Tons of Youtube videos criticized the kind of diverse stuffs being pushed to us. You be the judge of the kind of story you want. The old Marvel with classic storys remains in the past. You may change how the story presents, have big stars in the show. But the comic fans just doesn't bite.
New Kamen Rider Faiz movie, Paradise Regained. This is a brand new moive. While I have no idea on the plot, based on trailer available, the original cast is back and they will even be brand new rider. This may or may not be connected with the previous movie or the series as Masato is back. In the series and movie, he got killed. Here he is back as shown in the trailer. Kamen Rider Faiz is one of the better of the early rider series. The show will be out in 2024.

Apple have released their latest Mac OS for Apple computers. Named as Mac OS Sonoma. It is Apple's yearly roll out of a updated MacOS for their macintosh computers. Instead updating of new builds, they will roll out a brand new version with possibility of new functions and new interface. This new roll out, the new changes I saw is the login and screen look view. It is now a moving desktop wallpaper with the password input box as smaller at the bottom and same view when goes to screensaver unlock mode.
If you are still running on MacOS Monterey and below, be aware that from Ventura onwards, most of the mac interface have change and I am still getting use to it when accessing on System Settings.
There is a new Mortal Kombat game and it seems to be a rebooted universe with familar characters with new characters as well. Titled as Mortal Kombat 1. When Acclaim came out with the Mortal Kombat game in the 90s with its violent contents, it shook the gaming world and led to the creation of the Rating system for Games. It seems that Warner Brothers have taken over this game and have rebooted the universe and revamped the gaming system, with a new storyline, like the Injustice game. Is this a multiverse or a reboot? If Warner Brothers is in charge, expect DC Comics, one of WB subsidiary to do it's storytelling and may involves a multiverse to the original MK world, should the current story fails to attracts fans.

DC comics celebrate on Sep 16 as Batman Day. Because Batman comics is still a good seller, at least on those titles with proper story telling. The comic books industry is currently roasting as readers are abandoning comics for other form of entertainment. The industry as of now is still unable to interpret this as a drop of comics quality. As of now, Batman comics are still readable. But don't expect it to last. I have stopped reading Batman ever he only battles the few villains over and over. There are much more villains than any other characters. Enough of Jokers, Two Face, Penguin. If Batman is unable to put them away after so many books, something is wrong.
Everyone should know that MTV is the channel that we goto for Music Videos. In today's MTV channel, it is showing mostly shows and nothing much on music videos. Slash of Guns N Roses recently calls out the channel when MTV are celebrating their 42nd anniversary. Slash remarked that the channel that we grew up with, the channel that always show music videos had died in the 90s. Nowaday the channel is showing mostly shows. I agrees with Slash. This isn't the MTV channel I know.
Singapore had something to be proud of when George Lucas set up an office here to help with their production of Star Wars programmes. Now years after Disney took over, they are closing up shop. It is a matter of time that they will start to trim the fats. Star Wars shows, or the Star Wars brand is in a bad shape now since Disney is in charge. It is a matter of time before they starts to bow out.
DC movies news, or rumors, whichever way you looked at. When Gal Gadot remarked that there will be a Wonder Woman 3 movie after a meeting with the high ranks in DC studio, it was news. Now there are reports that there isn't any plans for a Wonder Woman 3 movie. So someone somewhere there was confusion on the projects. This is just like a replay when Henry Cavill states that Man of Steel 2 is coming. But then the studio later have a changed of plan. So this is sucks for fans of the character, of the stars as well the Synderverse fans. In any case, perhaps stars of DC characters should stop releasing statements themselves to avoid the studio to refute them when there are change of plans. As of now it seems like the DC universe is just dead.
Tom and Jerry, the cartoon cat and mouse will be in a new series that will feature Singapore. The usual cat and mouse chase will occurs all over Singapore landmarks. This series will be produced in Asia. The show will premiere on Cartoon Network in Southeast Asia, Taiwan and Hong Kong before rolling out internationally.
You probably heard or read about it. The new Indiana Jones movie sucks. I have watched it because a friend wanted to watch for support of Harrison Ford. The movie indeed suck. Usually movies when you have chase scenes, the audiences would have excitement and woah with the show. Here the audiences are silent throughout the show. If you think the Crystal Skull is bad, this is worse! I am not giving spoilers here but I will put in why it is bad. That is just my feel of the show. Do give Harrison Ford your support in anyway.

If you haven't watch the Flash movie, go for it. As entertaining for all, comic fans gets a treat of source material from the books and the past movies, cameos and some comic logics that as usual, made sense and at the same time are senseless. For the "haters" of the Justice League version of the Flash, for his trying to be funny attitude, this time the Flash is damn serious. No spoilers here. Tons of cameos and a cool bat cycle that does battle.
Star Wars The Mandalorian Season 3, is just so unnecessary. The show should have ended at season 2, where the youthful Luke Skywalker came to pick up the baby Yoda character. This time round, it seems the show is more focus on the other sub characters. Some other characters where fans favors are not in the show. As usual all due to internal conflicts within Lucasflim, the company where George Lucas does not own it anymore.
Just watched Fast X. Find that this time the show does not have much car race. As compare with the previous show, this got less racing and fast cars. The whole show is mostly about Vin Diesel's character moving about saving his son and his gang. The show is still watchable. Having "dead" characters return seems to be something that is unique of the show.
DC's Shazam! Fury Of The Gods has done badly in the screenings in the US. Does the movie producers knows what kind of stories the audiences wanted? As in the case of Shazam, most comments was due to the Shazam's DC universe got cancelled, But lastly, I feel that while they tries to update the Shazam world for the modern audiences, it seems only the comic books audiences watches it and disagreed with the changes. Also there are enough arch villains to go head on with the hero, plus all his sidekicks. Shazam's been around for as long as Superman does and he will have enough of his own villains to put up a show. Putting up some minor characters or unknown as the villains, no matter how powerful just doesn't help. Just borrow someone from Suicide Squad, anyone there would be bad ass enough for the show.
The world premiere for Transformers Rise Of The Beast is happening on 27-May at Singapore's Marina Bay Sands. There is now a contest for fan art. The theme of the contest is "Autobots, Maximals, Roll Out". So if you can do good art that includes the Beasts as well you can try your luck on it. Winners of this contest will get the tickets for the red carpet and the screening of the movie. The director and the stars will also be at the event.
If you aren't aware, this is the seventh movie for the franchise. The first five movies was directed by Michael Bay. The sixth movie directed by Travis Knight. This current movie is directed by Caple Jr.
