They have no military skills other then those learn at BMT. So I guess they will all be put to combat unit. To boys waiting to do NS, don't get your hopes high. Even if there is a choice to choose your vocation, they will mostly be similar. Just make sure you are fit. If you are fit, and if you do well in studies, you get to be officer and life probably be a bit better. The tough part in NS is that fitness must be there else you will be slow and can't complete your task. So you have heard of the change in IPPT? It don't sound much change if you are weak. Running 3.2km is no joke. They didn't trim down the standard, they increased it.
